Specific™ struvite management CCD is designed to help dissolve struvite bladder stonesand reduce the risk of new ones forming. The reduced content of magnesium and phosphorus (components of struvite crystals) aids the prevention and dissolution of struvite crystals and stones. For adult dogs suffering from struvite bladder stones.
This diet is not suitable for dogs with calcium oxalate, urate or cysteine stones – for these dogs Specific™ heart and kidney support and Specific™ food sensitivity recipes are recommended.

Dechra SPECIFIC® CCD Adult Struvite Management Dry Dog FoodMy pug x poodle has been on this food for nearly her whole life, no more crystals in her wee, the Cet says to make sure she doesn’t get them to keep her in this for life. She lives with 2 other dogs that have different food and she notices, so I add 10g of a good quality wet food to her biscuits with a squish of salmon oil, it all goes down much better, she finds at 9 years old the kibble a bit hard with her overbite.
