Royal Canin Maxi Ageing 8+ Dry Dog Food
Product details
Large dogs are different to smaller dogs. As they get older, they need a diet that is tailored to their size and specific needs because they have different nutritional requirements and can be susceptible to certain health sensitivities as they age. For dogs over 8 years old, ROYAL CANIN Maxi Ageing 8+ is a nutritionally complete and balanced formula specially designed to meet your large dogs particular needs and support them throughout their later adult years.Larger dogs, with their extended digestive transit time, are more susceptible to digestive sensitivities compared to smaller breeds. This kibble contains highly digestible proteins and a balanced supply of fibres to help support good digestive health. Larger dogs typically weigh between 26 and 44kg and place the majority of their body weight on their joints. This formula is specially crafted with a combination of minerals and nutrients to help support healthy bones and joints in ageing dogs. Your ageing dog requires specific nutrients to help maintain their overall health. Crafted with a blend of essential vitamins and nutrients like EPA and DHA, this formula helps to support lifelong vitality. Considering the distinct jaw structure of your senior dog, our kibbles unique size and shape mean its adapted to suit your ageing dogs jaw and helps encourage them to chew their food properly. ROYAL CANIN Maxi Ageing 8+ is also available in a wet food texture: Chunks In Gravy. Senior dogs sensory capacity decreases as they age, so mixing wet and dry food helps to enhance the palatability of the meal. Dry kibble creates a mechanical brushing effect to help maintain dental health, while the moisture content in wet food helps to keep your ageing dog hydrated and maintain their urinary health. All ROYAL CANIN products undergo an extensive quality control process to guarantee high-quality food, and theyre packaged under a protective atmosphere to preserve freshness and nutritional quality for longer. Our team of scientists create formulas tailored to your senior dogs specific nutritional needs, using high-quality nutrients and keeping sustainability in mind.

A move from the Royal Canin Adult foodOur lab retriever turned 8 this year, so we decided to try the RCMA8+ and she is enjoying it as much as the RC Labrador Adult. We also changed to a slow feeder, as a lab, that enjoys her food and eats quickly, we noticed, with her aging, that she was burping/having wind, after eating. The slow feeder worked, from the moment we used it. Happy days!
