Vet's Kitchen Light diet for adult dogs is a complete dry food with 20% less fat than our adult diets. With reduced calories, higher fibre levels to satisfy hunger and L-carnitine to promote fat breakdown this light diet can help dogs lose weight and maintain their ideal weight. Additional natural ingredients include supplements to maintain healthy joints and prebiotics to support a healthy digestive system. Composition: Brown rice (min. 42%), chicken meal (min. 29%),oats, beet pulp, chicken gravy, minerals, chicken fat, salmon oil, brewer's yeast, vitamins, seaweed oil extract (min. 0.3%), beta glucan yeast extract (min. 0.1%), glucosamine (min. 355 mg/kg), methylsulfonylmethane (min. 355 mg/kg), mannanoligosaccharides (prebiotic, min. 315 mg/kg), fructooligosaccharides (prebiotic, min. 315 mg/kg), chondroitin sulphate (min. 250 mg/kg), yucca schidigera extract.
Analytical Constituents: Protein: 24%, Oil: 9.5%, Fibre: 4.5%, Ash: 8%.
Nutritional Additives (per kg): Vitamin A: 19,000 IU/kg, Vitamin D3: 1,300 IU/kg, Vitamin E (As Alpha-Tocopherol Acetate): 150 IU/kg, Copper (As Cupric Sulphate & Cupric Chelate Of Amino Acids Hydrate): 21mg/kg.

reasonable price and a good quality productI usually have the vets kitchen salmon and potato but thought I would go for the light this time as my dogs need to lose a little weight. As always a great product and also support a local business.

MsI purchased this dog food but unfortunately he didn't want to eat any of it. I wish there was a selection pack of dried dog food to try. I will keep trying with it.

Great for small dogs and good for delicate tummiesI first tried thus good with my two Chihuahuas a few years ago and they loved it from the start . Also one of them used to get upset tummy on a regular basis but since being on vets klinic food he's been so much better !
