very durableGreat for throwing into the sea for my Boxer, floats and easy to retrieve. Use one each summer.

My Lab just adores this toy.Worked out weakness very quickly and chewed off string. Was able to tie around the main body for even more play time. She loves biting it and retrieving.Must buy another now as she has chewed the end off but it lasted much longer than other toys.

My retriever detached the rope within 5 minutes and spent the rest of the day chewing the rest to pieces so not a great.

This is a brilliant toy. My 11 year old collie/lab cross loves it and it's definitely keeping her fit & healthy. Yes the cover does come off after a while but I just cut off the loose bits and the plastic underneath is fairly tough. It's used every day so I get through about 6 a year. Well worth it!
