This urinary wet food for cats is formulated for the nutritional management of cats with lower urinary tract disease and is suitable for cats with:
- Struvite uroliths: dissolution and management of recurrence.
- Calcium oxalate uroliths: management of recurrence.
- Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC)

As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to the individual preferences of each cat, ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is also available as wet food with morsels in gravy, or as dry crunchy kibble. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount, especially when mixed feeding.
Please note: ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O is not suitable for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought), concurrent use of urine-acidifying medication, growth, gestation, lactation.
ROYAL CANIN® URINARY S/O loaf is a complete dietetic feed for cats, formulated for the dissolution of struvite stones and the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. Urine undersaturating or metastabilising properties for struvite and/or Urine acidifying properties. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Feed URINARY S/O for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and initially up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. The cat should be re-evaluated regularly by the veterinarian to assess the relevance of a lifelong recommendation. Water should be available at all times. In older cats, renal function should be checked before feeding ROYAL CANIN® URINARY S/O loaf.
