Grain free ingredients, good alternative for chicken allergic dogs

Go! Solutions Sensitivities Limited Ingredient Duck Grain Free Dry Dog Food. My German Shepherd loves this kibble. Excellent ingredient list. I've never tried feeding duck based dog food before, since it's also a poultry. However, upon researching duck in relation to dogs with chicken allergies, supposedly only 10% to 20% of dogs with chicken allergies will react to Duck, compared to over 90% that would react to turkey, for example. Duck has a different molecular protein structure and the Dog's immune system often doesn't recognize it as an allergen. But duck is also richer and heavier in fat, so it's probably not a great choice for dogs prone to pancreatitis, or obesity.

Just a side note. The bag's resealable opening is similar to velcro, only it's a clear plastic. Very easy to close compared to a lot of zipper closures that require a bit of fussing with to get it to resell.

Surprisingly better for my sensitive-stomach pup

We switched to Go! Solutions Sensitivities Limited after Amazon ran out of Stella�s usual food, and honestly� this turned out to be an upgrade. Stella has an extremely sensitive stomach, so I was nervous to try something new, but she handled this perfectly from day one. No digestive issues at all.

We add a little freeze-dried topper to her bowl, and she cleans it every time without any problems.

What started as a backup option ended up becoming her new go-to. Really impressed with how gentle this formula is.
