The Green Interactive Slow Feeder is a revolutionary way to slow a dog's eating to savour his food. Many dogs lack mental stimulation which can lead to boredom and unwanted behaviours such as chewing. The Green keeps dogs mentally stimulated during feeding time, helping to reduce these behaviours. Simply scatter the desired amount of food across the Green. The dog will then enjoy the challenge of pushing the food out between its many blades of grass. Green works well with wet, dry and raw food. The Green slows down eating time which can reduce the risk of bloat. No longer able to inhale foodThe dog that this was purchased for, when fed from a bowl, would literally inhale a complete 150g kibble meal within 5-9secs. Have tried with the 2-layer spin slow feeder but no discernable difference. However, with this marvellous contraption, he is still eating several minutes later - actually coming up for air between mouthfuls - leading to a longer, slower mealtime that makes the most of one of his pleasures in life. Whoo-hooo! Result.

Slowed my gusselarThis arrived Saturday very happy it has slowed his eatting down to 20 to 30 minutes. Very fast delivery. I took photos this is a hard plastic with the longest nodle being 3 inches in height the length is 17 to 18 inches and you can see the width it's also a substantial weight . I use a raised tray and this fits it but I have to put water bowel up until he is finished then his water goes down has they both do not fit. At first he looked at me to say what can of contrabtion have you bought me now!!!but he has not farted since so he isn't eatting lots of air and for an American bull/staff that's a blessing.

Excellent productWe bought this for our Staffie who always bolts her food even when we bought the conventional + centreslow feeder. This beauty slows the meal down to 20-30 mins with the result that she has far fewer episodes of ‘windy miller’. She seems to enjoy the challenge of cleaning up every scrap from the ‘blades of grass’. Just bought one for my daughter’s Staff.

Great for medium/large dogs.A good quality product, slightly bigger than I expected but on the other hand I didn't want it to be too small for my Labrador (I did have a general idea of the size from the measurements, it just seemed bigger when it arrived in its box). However, it is actually a good size for feeding a Labrador-sized dog and is suitable for any dog with a long muzzle. I bought it to slow my Labrador down when eating her raw food and it is ideal for this purpose, she has to work much harder to get the food and it keeps her interest for much longer than when she usually gulps down her food. It is dishwasher safe, but to be honest it doesn't need much cleaning after my Lab's finished with it. The other good thing about it is that it's strong and heavy enough that my Lab hasn't tried to chew it (she's 3 and doesn't chew things as much now, but she has damaged a couple of my Pug's Likimats recently!). I would recommend this product if you want to slow down your dog eating and give their brain more of a workout!
