Little Big Paw Natural Grain-free Wet Cat Food - Duck & Chicken in Mousse
Product details
Cats have big characters. They also have big energy requirements, fast metabolisms and burn energy at a fast rate. Just like the big cats of the wild, they are carnivores, so they need high levels of meat to ensure maximum health. For cats, a high percentage of meat is not just desirable: it is essential. There is no doubt that the higher the meat content, the better it is for the health of the cat! Little BigPaw is a range of wet foods designed specifically for cats with character. We work closely with leading nutritionists to produce foods that are perfect for all cats. Our foods are packed with meat, high in energy, nutrient dense and rich in calories - so a small amount of food packs in a big amount of energy.
We choose natural ingredients that are gentle on the pet's stomach and easily digested. We even add Taurine - an amino acid essential for feline health. What's more, we use a very high percentage of 100% traceable British meat so every cat will love the taste - big taste for little big cats.

Full of bones - please do not buy thisDo not buy this or any other Little Big Paw food! I discovered the bones in a duck pot whilst they had an investigation open regarding bones I found in their turkey batch. Their response, just before this happened was "Bone is a naturally occurring component of the cat mousse as this is the natural source of calcium required in the cat’s diet. Variations between trays can occur but as a result of your findings we will adjust our production process to emulsify the meats and reduce the size of the bone present." Bone does often contribute to a cat's calcium but should always be ground as bonemeal, never in sharp fragments as they can cause serious injury to any animal. There is no mention of bone in their ingredients and on their website it boasts that the best cat food should be easily digestible! Does it look as though my cat was able to digest her food?! I can understand one bad batch, which is why I emailed in the first place, but during the time of the investigation I opened other packs of different meat types and batches, and found bones in many of them, which I advised them of. I've attached pictures of the other bones too, I am shocked and disgusted that they do not believe this to be a real danger to cats, and I have warned all my friends not to buy this food, though it's a shame as it's hard to find complete blended, grain-free, soya free hypoallergenic food. I'm now having to use up the little big paws food I have as I am not on a high income and these pots are expensive. I'm having to sieve each pot. Please please do not feed your animals this food! It could really harm them.
