This complete wet dog food is carefully crafted and nutritionally balanced for the health and wellbeing of adult dogs from 12 months to 7 years.

This product contains the following special ingredients and benefits to care for your dog's health and wellbeing:
- Chicken Meal A highly digestible dried meat protein that also supplies essential minerals
- Chicory Inulin A natural prebiotic to help support gut flora
- Omega 3 & 6 Oils To promote healthy skin and glossy coat
- Yucca Extract A natural deodoriser, for less smelly poos
Using all our knowledge and experience of dog foods, weve created James Wellbeloved dog wet food pouches. We take a handful of ingredients from nature, one source of animal protein and combine them with all the vitamins and minerals your dog needs. And all the great taste it deserves. For added peace of mind, its naturally hypoallergenic so less likely to cause an adverse food reaction and you will never see any added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Not now, not ever. Our pouches can be fed alone or as a tasty topper with our dry food. If using as a tasty topper on James Wellbeloved dry food, reduce dry food by 25g for every 100g pouch fed. We recommend that feeding is supervised.
A complete wet food with the bonus that it is hypo-allergenic. With selected protein source (turkey) and selected carbohydrate source (rice), it is a dietetic food, excellent for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances. We suggest that the food be tried for a period of 3 to 8 weeks. If the signs of the food intolerance disappear, continue feeding indefinitely.

Composition: Turkey (27.0%), rice (5.5%), dried carrots (including 1% dried carrots, equivalent to 8.1% carrots), dried peas (including 1% dried peas, equivalent to 3.8% peas), dextrose, minerals, sugar beet pulp, sunflower oil, linseed oil, alfalfa, seaweed (0.11%), fish oil, tomato powder.
Analytical Constituents: Protein: 5.5, Fat Content: 3.8, Crude Ash: 1.5, Crude Fibre: 0.50, Moisture: 82.0, Omega 3 Fatty Acids: 0.20, Omega 6 Fatty Acids: 1.0.

Feeding The Correct Amount
It is important to remember however that these figures are guidelines only, and there are several factors to be taken into account when assessing your pet’s nutritional requirements : -
- Activity level
- Temperament (stressed animals burn off more calories than relaxed ones)
- Metabolism (every animal is an individual with his or her own speed of metabolism; this means that 2 dogs of the same age, breed and weight could have different daily calorie requirements)
In order to provide the correct portions when feeding your dog or cat, it is also helpful to assess your pet’s appetite, visual appearance and stools. Whilst poo watching does not sound particularly pleasant, it is one of the best indicators of health. Increased frequency of passing faeces, production of large quantities of stools of loose motions are often frequent signs that an animal is receiving more food than he or she requires.
It is important to obtain an accurate weight for your cat or dog, and also to weigh out the food. Guessing on both accounts gives a large margin of error.
Changing Food Brands
For a successful diet change, we recommend following the feeding pattern below. The daily feeding amount should be split into two equal amounts and the proportions of new food increased over the first week as illustrated.
TOP TIPS: For those dogs who do not make eating a priority, here are some additional points:
- Reduce the number of tit-bits given during the introductory period
- If your dog has been used to eating wet food, moisten with warm water.
