Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-On for Extra Large Dogs is an effective and affordable veterinary strength medicine to control fleas and ticks on your dog.

Kills fleas and ticks. Containing the well-known active ingredient fipronil, Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-On for Extra Large Dogs effectively kills fleas for up to five weeks and kills ticks for up to four weeks. Suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age and weighing 40-60kg. All pets are at risks from fleas, even dogs that don't go outside very much, as we can bring them in on our clothes. It is important to establish a regular flea control routine for your pets and your home. 95% of the flea's lifecycle is in the home. When tackling a flea problem, in addition to treating your pet always use a household insecticide, such as Beaphar FLEAtec or Beaphar Extra Long Lasting Household Flea Fogger for your home.

Left white mark on fur

I've been using a more expensive brand of flea & tick protection for many years & for some reason decided to change brands this time around. This is one of those 'you get what you pay for' moments. For a start you can't snap the top off the pipette to use it, you need scissors. Then when you use the product it all comes gushing out, there's no control to allow you to use some at the base of the skull & some at the shoulders. Then there's the fact that the product has left a white mark on the black fur of both my dogs. It's been there over 48 hours now & I'm wary of brushing it out in case it reduces the protection. To make matters worse, there are only 4 pipettes in the pack, not the standard 6 so it's not the massive saving that I thought it was. Back to the expensive brand for me.

It's been on my dog for over two weeks and fleas are still there

Keeps my dogs goes free

Keeps fleas away if applied every four weeks. Buying in boxes gives 4 months treatment.
